I restated the dome controller and everything was good after that. The night started with just a few clouds that cleared out after midnight and seeing was pretty good all night. We had issues with NICFPS reading out all 0’s and large negative values. I have to restart the Hub but the nicfpcs expose init worked on two other counts. This happened at 03:55 - 04:09, 04:17 - 04:32, 04:38, 05:15. By the third time we were catching the errors much faster so there was essentially no time lost. A PR was sent out. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- OU04 N I/U 03:55 04:09 NICFPS reading out incorrectly OU04 N I/U 04:17 04:32 NICFPS reading out incorrectly ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:24 APOLLO 600( 2316) 42 30 17.3 19.4 19.3 19.0 17.8 530 1.20 20:31 dcamera 495( 1217) -124 30 16.4 17.6 17.9 17.1 16.5 -- 2.43 00:25 NICFPS 523( 1723) 207 43 15.6 15.4 16.0 15.6 15.5 MKH 0.88 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 69 46 11 252 (WSW) 513 mstly clr none 17:00 69 39 1 151 (SSE) 371 mstly clr none 18:00 69 48 3 323 (NW) 682 mstly clr none 19:00 66 37 8 107 (ESE) 272 mstly clr none 20:00 64 38 10 91 (E) 333 clear none 21:00 62 37 13 87 (E) 314 mstly clr none 22:00 62 37 13 85 (E) 303 mstly clr none 23:00 61 40 14 79 (E) 322 mstly clr none 00:00 60 40 13 82 (E) 365 mstly clr none 01:00 60 41 12 91 (E) 407 mstly clr none 02:00 60 41 13 81 (E) 385 clear none 03:00 60 41 11 81 (E) 376 clear none 04:00 61 37 9 68 (ENE) 305 clear none 05:00 61 37 3 29 (NNE) 313 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
