We had some really strong storms all afternoon, with the wind gusting to nearly 50mph and bringing strong rain and hail. It kept us closed for all of A half. Things looked like they were clearing up but, as the clouds were coming from the east, I stayed closed until the clouds had fully cleared. When we opened the seeing was good. No problems tonight. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 00:00 ecamera 413( 67) 157 79 14.0 14.0 14.4 14.1 13.9 Clear 0.92 01:48 ecamera 538( 183) 222 74 14.1 13.8 14.4 13.5 13.6 Clear 0.88 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 68 47 9 354 (N) 631 cloudy rain 17:00 56 43 17 74 (ENE) 733 cloudy rain 18:00 53 47 29 83 (E) 318 cloudy rain 19:00 52 44 25 75 (ENE) 249 cloudy rain 20:00 58 38 15 82 (E) 166 cloudy humid 21:00 57 40 3 20 (NNE) 285 mstly cldy none 22:00 57 37 23 66 (ENE) 205 mstly clr none 23:00 57 40 22 75 (ENE) 270 ptly cldy none 00:00 57 40 27 79 (E) 236 mstly clr none 01:00 58 42 19 75 (ENE) 352 mstly clr none 02:00 58 43 5 90 (E) 490 ptly cldy none 03:00 57 44 10 82 (E) 583 ptly cldy none 04:00 56 43 9 78 (ENE) 610 clear none 05:00 55 41 5 280 (W) 489 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
