However, I mounted nicfps between checkout and JH03 taking their image. We have clouds hanging around at sunset that came and went with good seeing but then, from out of now where (it actually came from the east) we had sudden high winds, dust, and humidity. I closed at 22:30 as the clouds started forming over us as I wasn't sure if there was rain in them. Winds gusted to nearly 40mph and then the humidity spiked. Things didn't calm down until nearly 3am, at which point everything cleared and we had just awful seeing. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:39 NICFPS 464( 1974) -1 53 19.6 21.6 21.8 21.1 19.8 MH-K 0.96 21:04 NICFPS 462( 1840) -21 70 18.9 19.2 19.9 18.9 18.7 MH-K 0.73 01:55 ecamera 419( 156) -109 68 14.2 15.5 16.9 15.3 14.4 Clear 2.06 02:33 ecamera 477( 184) -23 69 14.4 14.9 15.9 14.7 14.4 Clear 2.08 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 74 35 7 260 (W) 331 mstly cldy none 17:00 76 34 5 258 (WSW) 304 mstly cldy none 18:00 73 30 3 164 (SSE) 204 ptly cldy none 19:00 71 28 13 86 (E) 214 ptly cldy none 20:00 69 26 20 73 (ENE) 236 ptly cldy none 21:00 67 21 15 83 (E) 228 mstly clr none 22:00 66 21 20 69 (ENE) 214 cloudy none 23:00 62 43 17 72 (ENE) 3004 cloudy none 00:00 60 48 26 77 (ENE) 2665 clear humid 01:00 59 50 24 75 (ENE) 2134 clear humid 02:00 58 51 18 87 (E) 1153 clear humid 03:00 57 51 22 86 (E) 985 clear none 04:00 61 45 15 111 (ESE) 674 clear none 05:00 61 43 20 125 (SE) 483 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
