Seeing was awful with winds out of the NE. No matter what was done, focus script could not get data points to converge, so focus was left at value from a few nights ago. Winds dies down but humidity spiked around 22:15, so we closed. It began to recede after midnight, so we opened again. That did not last long, as the humidity came back with a vengence, and we closed again at 01:00. Pollen was seen on windshields, so we're in to that time of year as well. Humidity turned to fog and light drizzle around 03:00. We stayed closed for the night, and gave up around 04:15. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:49 dcamera 600( 1017) -14 74 8.9 12.2 13.2 11.8 9.4 - 5.49 Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
