Wind was from the east, and seeing was bad. Clouds blew out around 23:00 and around 00:00 the winds shifted to the south, with an improvement in seeing. Pollen seems to be dying down, but we ran the fans in high dust mode nonetheless. We stayed open all night. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:18 APOLLO 650( 2131) 49 33 11.9 14.8 15.3 14.2 12.4 530 3.00 01:17 ecamera 634( 170) 136 80 13.5 11.7 12.0 11.5 13.1 ND2 1.15 04:09 ecamera 530( 121) 143 53 13.0 12.5 13.1 12.6 12.6 clear 0.82 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 63 40 11 241 (WSW) 679 clear none 17:00 64 39 7 258 (WSW) 522 clear none 18:00 66 41 7 258 (WSW) 551 clear none 19:00 62 41 7 262 (W) 576 clear none 20:00 54 39 7 94 (E) 652 mstly clr none 21:00 52 40 16 79 (E) 750 ptly cldy none 22:00 51 41 15 82 (E) 946 mstly clr none 23:00 51 41 9 84 (E) 1231 clear none 00:00 52 40 7 90 (E) 1626 clear none 01:00 56 35 1 205 (SSW) 1238 clear none 02:00 57 34 7 219 (SW) 737 clear none 03:00 56 34 10 185 (S) 1274 clear none 04:00 55 36 7 185 (S) 1758 clear none 05:00 55 41 6 187 (S) 2365 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
