We attempted an opening around 21:45, but the clouds were too thick to even allow a focus, then the rain began to return on the radar, so we closed shortly after. It started to clear around 01:10 and we tried opening again, this time had much better results. We stayed open until the dawn. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 01:19 dcamera 488( 503) -6 82 3.3 4.4 5.3 4.1 3.6 - 1.43 02:49 dcamera 792( 686) -115 55 2.0 1.8 2.8 2.1 2.1 - 2.00 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 53 21 23 222 (SW) 1156 ptly cldy none 17:00 54 21 20 223 (SW) 824 ptly cldy none 18:00 52 25 23 211 (SSW) 1351 mstly cldy lt rain 19:00 49 22 20 259 (W) 1354 mstly cldy lt rain 20:00 47 21 17 262 (W) 1539 mstly cldy lt rain 21:00 46 17 22 271 (W) 1527 ptly cldy none 22:00 43 21 20 261 (W) 2108 cloudy none 23:00 41 22 17 292 (WNW) 1020 cloudy none 00:00 41 22 22 265 (W) 527 cloudy none 01:00 39 24 21 268 (W) 496 ptly cldy none 02:00 36 24 15 296 (WNW) 615 clear none 03:00 36 25 21 308 (NW) 464 clear none 04:00 34 24 9 302 (WNW) 397 clear none 05:00 34 24 19 315 (NW) 367 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
