We had a whole bunch in the library tonight. During checkout, I moved the gratings to set 2 and noticed that the turret Detent was at 99. I homed it twice to get it >1400. The Optidew outside dew point was reading wrong compared to all the other weather dew point sensors on site. 04:43UT (22:43) Internet seems to have went down on us. It came back up on it's own around 23:25. ARCSAT was taking an image sequence so even though they were disconnected they never lost any sky time. My 3.5m observer image did finish around 22:50, so I counted time loss due to Equipment for the down time. I called him as soon as the internet came back up. Internet was slow but usable for the remainder of the night. IT guys will be investigating in the day. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:39 dcamera 410( 1119) 26 73 14.6 17.9 17.4 17.8 15.5 -- 1.05 23:48 dcamera 659( 1100) -32 42 12.1 12.3 13.4 11.9 12.1 -- 1.30 01:24 ecamera 486( 13) 169 66 10.5 11.3 12.1 11.2 11.1 clear 1.48 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 66 31 11 227 (SW) 747 ptly cldy none 17:00 62 32 10 239 (WSW) 992 ptly cldy none 18:00 67 34 14 256 (WSW) 969 ptly cldy none 19:00 64 37 8 209 (SSW) 818 ptly cldy none 20:00 58 37 5 240 (WSW) 653 mstly clr none 21:00 59 37 1 218 (SW) 716 clear none 22:00 54 47 10 74 (ENE) 963 clear none 23:00 53 46 10 88 (E) 1179 clear none 00:00 55 41 9 91 (E) clear none 01:00 52 41 13 93 (E) clear none 02:00 52 40 7 103 (ESE) clear none 03:00 53 43 18 129 (SE) 716 mstly clr none 04:00 52 45 19 135 (SE) mstly clr none 05:00 52 44 19 131 (SE) mstly clr none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
