Seeing at the start of the night was variable between 1.9-2.7 arc sec. 03:24:49 rotator halted. Russet said she saw a spike in current on CSS but only to -5 which should not have halted the rotator. I re-init the rotator did a couple small rotations and all seemed fine. 2019-05-31 03:24:49 .tcc.0 0 tcc w BadRotStatus; RotStat=77.299667,0.000000,5065989888.95000,0x20006801; RotDTime=0.11 I needed to do a slit wheel check between programs, that is why there was a short delay between handoff. I found the issue why the spectra was slightly tilted, a latch had not been released on the slit wheel. Once released, the slit located properly with aligned spectra. There is no mask file for the 1.2 slit. I will try to remember to make one tomorrow. Closed due to humdity at 04:04. The 3.5m outside were below closure limits but the 2.5m and 3.5m inside dome were above. Rain sensor went off even though there were no clouds. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:43 dcamera 600( 1094) 38 80 9.7 13.8 13.5 13.3 10.5 -- 2.50 21:45 dcamera 423( 844) -120 58 10.4 12.1 11.8 11.4 10.5 -- 1.30 01:23 dcamera 526( 868) 176 63 11.2 10.7 11.3 10.3 10.6 -- 1.20 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 58 31 12 186 (S) 588 ptly cldy none 17:00 61 32 20 205 (SSW) 647 ptly cldy none 18:00 60 31 13 228 (SW) 708 ptly cldy none 19:00 59 32 11 252 (WSW) 758 mstly clr none 20:00 53 32 3 122 (ESE) 785 mstly clr none 21:00 49 31 1 176 (S) 887 clear none 22:00 50 32 2 127 (SE) 913 clear none 23:00 53 30 2 188 (S) 792 clear none 00:00 53 24 2 249 (WSW) 858 clear none 01:00 53 30 2 226 (SW) 840 clear none 02:00 51 29 2 137 (SE) 769 clear none 03:00 50 31 6 179 (S) 830 clear none 04:00 43 31 12 91 (E) 740 clear humid Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
