I re-homed the turret and gratings. It also was a royal pain to calibrate the Bay 2 gratings tonight, even after homing. They seemed a little more vertical after two homes. See dtest.0004r and dtest.0009r for comparison. I went to calibrate the Bay 1 gratings and I got no spectra at all (either camera). Ugh! Detent was 728 now. I changed to grating set 2 and then the turret got lost (blank). I could select from drop down still. I homed just the turret again. Detent 727, Homed again, Detent 1492. I got a spectra, WooHoo! PR Submitted Humidity closed us at 04:10. We never re-opened. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 21:03 dcamera 455( 950) 88 61 9.4 13.6 13.1 13.1 10.8 -- 1.35 23:34 dcamera 544( 852) 6 77 9.9 10.1 10.6 9.8 10.0 -- 1.00 01:10 dcamera 524( 779) -86 64 7.6 9.0 9.6 8.6 7.9 -- 1.60 03:21 arctic 573( 940) 203 58 5.6 6.2 7.0 6.1 5.3 SDSS_r 2.30 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 60 15 15 235 (SW) 320 mstly clr none 17:00 61 14 10 264 (W) 273 mstly clr none 18:00 56 12 7 254 (WSW) 377 mstly clr none 19:00 56 12 7 262 (W) 418 clear none 20:00 52 13 6 251 (WSW) 375 clear none 21:00 49 13 7 232 (SW) 409 clear none 22:00 50 11 6 217 (SW) 349 clear none 23:00 50 10 5 199 (SSW) 426 clear none 00:00 50 9 4 207 (SSW) 516 clear none 01:00 46 20 12 83 (E) 459 clear none 02:00 46 24 10 86 (E) 604 clear none 03:00 42 30 11 84 (E) 910 clear none 04:00 40 32 15 79 (E) clear humid 05:00 40 32 12 83 (E) clear humid Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
