Seeing was pretty bad as well (SDSS was getting around 4 arc sec seeing). Orographic clouds formed over us around 01:15 and by 02:00 we were pretty well socked in with these clouds. We gave up at 04:25. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 52 19 27 227 (SW) 9470 cloudy dust 17:00 48 17 36 250 (WSW) 12552 cloudy dust 18:00 47 15 37 256 (WSW) 6620 cloudy dust 19:00 43 19 25 268 (W) 41352 cloudy dust 20:00 35 25 22 286 (WNW) 33656 cloudy dust 21:00 32 22 14 269 (W) 5231 cloudy none 22:00 30 18 27 296 (WNW) 4728 mstly clr none 23:00 28 17 13 302 (WNW) clear none 00:00 27 15 25 288 (WNW) 307 clear none 01:00 26 17 23 298 (WNW) 352 ptly cldy none 02:00 26 18 20 292 (WNW) cloudy none 03:00 26 19 17 294 (WNW) cloudy none 04:00 26 20 21 287 (WNW) cloudy humid Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
