The afternoon had snow/sleet/rain/grapple, all the cold stuff. It continued for a few hours but there was no snow accumulation. When it wasn't wet it was just complete overcast and pretty much humid the whole night and we did not open. We used the time for UV02 training so hopefully everything will go off without a hitch on Tuesday. During checkout I noticed that the rotator was off by about 5 degrees. I zeroed it out (Set.Position of 2.705) and didn't have any further problems. I'm not sure what happened as I didn't have any issues last night and was the first to move it this afternoon. ARCTIC was left parked with a rotation of about -150 when I closed up yesterday. A problem report was sent. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 42 32 20 69 (ENE) 500 cloudy rain 17:00 42 31 13 77 (ENE) 533 cloudy rain 18:00 42 31 6 92 (E) 561 cloudy snow 19:00 41 31 2 346 (NNW) 615 cloudy snow 20:00 40 31 2 353 (N) 462 cloudy snow 21:00 37 32 8 56 (NE) cloudy humid 22:00 38 32 5 109 (ESE) cloudy humid 23:00 38 31 12 126 (SE) cloudy rain 00:00 36 32 18 136 (SE) cloudy humid 01:00 36 32 6 99 (E) cloudy humid 02:00 42 26 3 260 (W) 753 cloudy none 03:00 41 26 3 258 (WSW) 725 cloudy humid 04:00 38 31 7 214 (SW) 678 cloudy humid Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
