Or, ya know, way better than anyone was expecting. It was raining and storming all afternoon (with fog thrown in for fun) and UW01 logged in expecting to immediately return to their Saturday party only to find the weather was clear! We had good to moderate seeing all night. CU07 presented us with the most GLORIOUS galaxy eye candy I've ever seen! I wish they had been on a little longer :( JH01 almost made it to twilight but, in the end, the radar got us and we had to close at 4:14. While it never rained, there was some good virga. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:19 arctic 529( 894) 51 60 4.2 6.2 6.2 5.9 4.4 sdss-g 1.29 23:07 arctic 550( 841) 188 68 5.4 4.8 5.1 4.9 5.4 sdss-r 1.14 00:18 ecamera 581( -219) 174 78 5.7 5.0 5.4 5.3 5.7 clear 1.07 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 45 32 5 263 (W) 623 cloudy rain 17:00 41 32 8 319 (NW) 703 cloudy rain 18:00 37 32 14 253 (WSW) cloudy fog 19:00 39 32 8 301 (WNW) ptly cldy humid 20:00 41 30 10 299 (WNW) ptly cldy humid 21:00 41 31 7 353 (N) mstly clr humid 22:00 40 30 4 1 (N) clear humid 23:00 42 28 4 353 (N) 426 clear humid 00:00 41 28 8 335 (NNW) 336 ptly cldy none 01:00 42 28 7 344 (NNW) 262 ptly cldy none 02:00 43 27 9 334 (NNW) 376 mstly clr none 03:00 40 28 1 244 (WSW) 235 mstly clr none 04:00 41 28 5 351 (N) 222 mstly cldy none 05:00 40 29 1 197 (SSW) 219 mstly cldy humid 06:00 38 31 5 109 (ESE) mstly cldy humid Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
