Almost 60MPH gusts at the start of the night, with dust, not surprisingly, along with the wind. The temperature also took a nosedive compared to yesterday. Dust and winds came down around 21:30 and I opened at 21:45. Seeing was horrible. Despite this, and clouds, we did get some data tonight. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 22:00 ecamera 53( -975) 75 53 -3.8 0.3 3.3 0.0 -3.1 clear 2.90 22:51 ecamera 565( -612) 210 56 -4.1 -2.6 -0.8 -3.0 -3.6 clear 2.38 00:13 ecamera 774( -472) 217 46 -4.1 -4.0 -3.0 -4.0 -4.0 clear 2.20 01:10 dcamera 776( 367) 240 57 -4.2 -4.1 -3.5 -4.0 -3.9 -- 1.88 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 46 1 34 245 (WSW) 15901 clear dust 17:00 43 -2 39 276 (W) 21633 clear dust 18:00 40 -1 38 266 (W) 19384 clear dust 19:00 37 -1 55 280 (W) 11130 clear dust 20:00 35 -1 37 271 (W) 3829 clear none 21:00 28 12 28 298 (WNW) 4242 clear none 22:00 25 14 15 286 (WNW) 958 clear none 23:00 25 14 25 295 (WNW) 445 clear none 00:00 25 13 29 296 (WNW) 740 mstly clr none 01:00 24 12 21 277 (W) 1113 ptly cldy none 02:00 24 12 18 302 (WNW) 547 cloudy none 03:00 24 12 24 307 (NW) 323 cloudy none 04:00 24 13 35 296 (WNW) 233 mstly cldy none 05:00 22 14 20 303 (WNW) 1067 ptly cldy none 06:00 22 15 9 290 (WNW) mstly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
