Some suckerholes were on satellite images, so we hoped for the best. One came through, so we opened. It lasted for about 30 minutes, then back to mostly overcast skies. Since there was no rain nearby on the radar, we stayed on sky, hoping to take advantage of any clear spots. We closed around 23:00 due to radar returns. Threat of rain/snow and overcast skies kept us closed the rest of the night. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:25 ecamera 629( -142) -102 64 2.2 3.3 3.1 3.6 2.6 ND2 1.13 20:36 ecamera 702( -328) -82 43 2.7 2.1 2.9 2.7 2.7 clear 1.60 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 39 -5 10 260 (W) 260 cloudy none 17:00 35 -1 11 232 (SW) 267 cloudy none 18:00 33 -2 10 260 (W) 305 cloudy none 19:00 35 -4 16 273 (W) 300 mstly cldy none 20:00 37 -8 20 265 (W) 727 cloudy none 21:00 36 0 12 247 (WSW) 291 mstly cldy none 22:00 36 10 10 271 (W) 275 cloudy none 23:00 36 12 12 265 (W) 226 cloudy none 00:00 35 14 15 273 (W) 313 cloudy none 01:00 35 15 13 251 (WSW) 343 cloudy none 03:00 35 15 15 266 (W) 281 cloudy none 04:00 35 20 15 246 (WSW) 384 cloudy none 05:00 34 20 13 263 (W) 332 cloudy none 06:00 34 22 12 242 (WSW) 354 cloudy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
