Gcam failed at checkout.  Needed to restart Nubs
We are seeing more vertical streaking on the Echelle slitviewer camera recently.  It is not affecting observations yet, just noting the increase.
Tested a new version of the obs spec checkout script tonight.  This version now performs NICFPS filter moves as part of the checkout.  NICPFS-ICS looked fined before script was ran (exception caught but no error).  As soon as the script moved the filter (basically commanded a filter move, nothing really to do with the script) the ICS showed a socket error (Software caused connection abort) and halted.  This is what we have seen previously when the filters failed to move.  Basically it hung my checkout script and obviously did not move the filter as commanded.  I restarted ICS software, re-initialized camera and re-ran checkout script and all worked fine.
Clouds move in on us jast as the sun went down, and progressively got worse.
We were finally able to get on sky (under fairly cloudy conditions yet) at 03:10, skies improved and by twilight the skies were clear.
