The echelle was trying to fill when I went up, I monitored the auto fill and it completed successfully (LN2 came out both vent tubes and valves auto shut off). It probably will show in the Echelle fill log that the fill took longer than normal, since the valves were closed when I when up to the dome. NICFPS filter would not move. NICFPS-ICS reported: socket.error: (10053, 'Software caused connection abort') Disconnected from ('10.50.1.1', 47756) (10053, ' Software caused connection abort') I closed the ICS software and then restarted (no reboot) and then did the normal hub restart routine. This fixed the filter issue (I had to cancel the previous move but then it worked fine). Clouds kept us closed at the start of the night for about 2 hrs. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 21:29 dcamera 698( 1065) 123 65 10.5 11.1 11.8 11.1 10.2 -- 1.07 01:20 ecamera 542( -17) 238 65 9.9 9.7 10.2 9.6 9.8 -- 0.93 05:50 APOLLO 450( 1714) 27 26 8.5 8.5 9.2 8.7 8.5 -- 1.70 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 55 28 12 251 (WSW) 394 cloudy none 17:00 53 21 9 237 (WSW) 343 cloudy none 18:00 53 24 10 242 (WSW) 472 cloudy none 19:00 51 24 12 208 (SSW) 442 cloudy none 20:00 51 23 15 228 (SW) 442 mstly cldy none 21:00 50 20 14 227 (SW) 404 ptly cldy none 22:00 52 16 14 231 (SW) 328 mstly cldy none 23:00 51 17 11 252 (WSW) 352 cloudy none 00:00 50 14 8 270 (W) 384 mstly cldy none 01:00 50 11 14 282 (WNW) 300 mstly cldy none 02:00 50 11 13 297 (WNW) 356 mstly cldy none 03:00 50 5 12 280 (W) 149 ptly cldy none 04:00 48 5 6 330 (NNW) 215 ptly cldy none 05:00 48 8 13 321 (NW) 259 ptly cldy none 06:00 47 11 14 303 (WNW) 399 ptly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
