UW12 had some trouble logging in. Bryce was in France and his router died so David and I got him to his field and started taking science images before Bryce was able to locate a pub and continue with his observations. We learned some interesting French Facts. For instance, did you know that it's common to have beer for breakfast and wine with dinner? Bryce said he ordered coffee ;) All worked out and his comet had one amazing tail to tell! Clouds made UW05's observations difficult but we were able to get some exposures. Pas de problèmes ce soir. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:36 ecamera 635( -142) 226 56 4.2 5.3 5.4 4.9 4.3 ND3 1.03 00:29 arctic 604( 824) 168 80 4.0 3.5 4.0 3.6 3.8 sdss-g 1.10 04:14 ecamera 576( -308) 8 77 3.2 3.4 3.9 3.5 3.3 -- 0.70 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 44 14 13 253 (WSW) 151 mstly clr none 17:00 42 13 14 261 (W) 190 mstly clr none 18:00 45 13 14 229 (SW) 250 mstly clr none 19:00 42 8 11 264 (W) 256 mstly clr none 20:00 40 5 16 237 (WSW) 324 mstly clr none 21:00 40 3 17 259 (W) 307 mstly clr none 22:00 40 5 15 261 (W) 298 ptly cldy none 23:00 40 8 17 260 (W) 330 ptly cldy none 00:00 39 11 22 269 (W) 291 ptly cldy none 01:00 39 12 23 291 (WNW) 267 mstly clr none 02:00 39 12 20 300 (WNW) 224 mstly clr none 03:00 39 12 21 291 (WNW) 204 mstly clr none 04:00 40 13 22 287 (WNW) 333 ptly cldy none 05:00 39 12 14 280 (W) 289 mstly cldy none 06:00 38 14 15 280 (W) 285 mstly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
