I just took an image manually and that seemed to fix its unhappiness. Tspec was also not happy at checkout, giving me blank images. That took a power cycle of the leech controller to fix. It seems happy again. NA2 guider lost the filters in the drop down menu again. gmech parameters fixed the issue again. Clouds were too thick to observe at the start of the 2nd half. We even tried switching to the Echelle for a 4th mag star and Nada. Clouds started to thin a little around 04:30 but they were forming on top of us and flowing in from the system just off to the west of us. Mostly sucker holes popping up and going away. We gave up at 05:15 ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:10 arctic 732( 1049) 40 50 7.3 9.0 8.9 8.7 7.5 J-C_U 1.00 19:16 NA2gdr -4919(38080) 38 51 7.3 8.8 8.8 8.6 7.5 R+ND2 1.00 23:04 arctic 789( 944) 13 56 6.4 5.9 6.4 6.0 6.3 J-C_U 1.37 23:05 NA2gdr -4569(38430) 12 56 6.4 5.9 6.4 6.0 6.3 R+ND2 1.37 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 51 6 14 278 (W) 341 ptly cldy none 17:00 49 6 11 275 (W) 359 ptly cldy none 18:00 46 6 14 238 (WSW) 376 mstly clr none 19:00 45 8 15 243 (WSW) 490 mstly clr none 20:00 44 7 15 253 (WSW) 586 mstly clr none 21:00 43 6 13 251 (WSW) 539 mstly clr none 22:00 43 5 14 264 (W) 490 mstly clr none 23:00 44 2 29 285 (WNW) 318 ptly cldy none 00:00 43 5 17 270 (W) 394 cloudy none 01:00 43 11 20 271 (W) 394 cloudy none 02:00 43 14 16 271 (W) 463 cloudy none 03:00 42 16 17 267 (W) 427 cloudy none 04:00 42 15 12 282 (WNW) 498 cloudy none 05:00 42 14 16 286 (WNW) 449 mstly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
