Rain went away, and it seemed to be clearing, so we tried to open. The minute we did, the skies clouded up utterly: we could not even find a star to focus on. We decided to close up again. We stayed closed for first half. By midnight, rain had returned. The rain came and went, humidity spiked and stayed high all night. We did not open again. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 40 30 25 251 (WSW) 108 mstly cldy none 17:00 38 30 14 240 (WSW) 197 mstly cldy lt rain 18:00 37 30 18 246 (WSW) 188 mstly cldy lt rain 19:00 38 31 8 261 (W) mstly cldy lt rain 20:00 38 31 25 254 (WSW) 188 ptly cldy none 21:00 38 30 17 266 (W) 129 cloudy none 22:00 37 31 20 232 (SW) cloudy none 23:00 37 32 21 266 (W) cloudy none 00:00 36 32 22 241 (WSW) cloudy lt rain 01:00 36 32 20 237 (WSW) cloudy humid 02:00 35 32 23 246 (WSW) cloudy lt rain 03:00 34 32 21 255 (WSW) cloudy humid 04:00 34 32 18 259 (W) cloudy lt rain 05:00 34 32 27 223 (SW) cloudy humid Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
