The first program gave up the last part of their time since they could not observe their target with the clouds. Finally around 00:40 it looked like something might be coming our way (other than more clouds) and we also finally lost our target with the echelle. I opted to close to be safe. We had several passing sucker holes along with a steady stream of clouds the 2nd half that kept us closed. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:48 dcamera 624( 662) 182 70 5.0 6.7 6.5 6.2 5.2 -- 1.00 00:15 ecamera 697( -269) 159 60 4.2 3.6 4.2 3.7 3.8 ND1 1.10 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 45 11 17 287 (WNW) 99 clear none 17:00 46 11 12 277 (W) 104 clear none 18:00 41 10 9 266 (W) 93 mstly clr none 19:00 41 9 12 248 (WSW) 120 ptly cldy none 20:00 41 8 12 212 (SSW) 234 ptly cldy none 21:00 41 8 16 238 (WSW) 272 mstly cldy none 22:00 40 7 18 255 (WSW) 204 mstly cldy none 23:00 40 4 16 264 (W) 146 mstly cldy none 00:00 39 9 15 263 (W) 155 ptly cldy none 01:00 39 8 18 275 (W) 135 cloudy none 02:00 40 8 21 298 (WNW) 156 cloudy none 03:00 41 7 16 276 (W) 197 cloudy none 04:00 40 7 11 309 (NW) 173 cloudy none 05:00 40 8 19 290 (WNW) 190 cloudy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
