Things cleared up several times during the night and we had good seeing. Everything was good with NICFPS when we were on sky but after I dismounted and our user took their darks, the images were bad. There were three vertical bands of high counts. A NICFPS expose init and that solved the problem. Maybe something was jostled during dismount? ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:40 NICFPS 763( 1207) 135 34 2.8 4.3 4.2 3.9 2.9 MK-H 0.73 21:02 NICFPS 824( 1105) 122 74 1.8 1.7 2.6 1.9 1.9 MK-H 0.91 00:31 dcamera 723( 482) 7 67 2.3 1.2 2.0 1.6 2.0 -- 1.10 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 43 10 16 232 (SW) 614 mstly cldy none 17:00 39 8 13 253 (WSW) 266 mstly cldy none 18:00 37 9 16 244 (WSW) 303 mstly cldy none 19:00 37 8 17 263 (W) 240 mstly clr none 20:00 37 10 14 264 (W) 196 mstly clr none 21:00 36 10 18 245 (WSW) 198 mstly clr none 22:00 37 11 15 265 (W) 168 mstly clr none 23:00 36 10 12 269 (W) 167 mstly clr none 00:00 36 9 19 283 (WNW) 165 mstly cldy none 01:00 36 8 16 296 (WNW) 185 cloudy none 02:00 36 10 16 271 (W) 170 mstly cldy none 03:00 35 11 17 284 (WNW) 174 clear none 04:00 34 11 9 274 (W) 190 clear none 05:00 34 11 14 304 (NW) 217 clear none 06:00 35 9 16 304 (NW) 216 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
