Later in the night we had bad seeing, occasional clouds, and sometimes wind direction restrictions, but nothing so bad we needed to stop observing. The observer for the last program had an emergency so I did some service observing. The telescope and instruments worked perfectly. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:34 ecamera 492( -685) 18 39 -3.6 -0.9 0.5 -1.7 -3.2 ND3 2.57 21:13 ecamera 648( -680) 214 43 -4.3 -3.8 -2.8 -4.0 -4.1 ND3 2.71 23:30 NICFPS 918( 818) 196 54 -6.2 -6.0 -5.2 -6.0 -6.0 Ks 1.44 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 33 9 21 264 (W) 11242 mstly clr dust 17:00 31 10 27 273 (W) 2184 mstly clr dust 18:00 28 13 29 279 (W) 2626 mstly clr none 19:00 26 14 26 268 (W) 2096 mstly clr none 20:00 25 14 20 269 (W) 363 mstly clr none 21:00 25 14 24 293 (WNW) 245 mstly clr none 22:00 23 10 29 301 (WNW) 200 ptly cldy none 23:00 21 10 25 321 (NW) 170 ptly cldy none 00:00 21 13 16 323 (NW) 137 ptly cldy none 01:00 20 14 13 322 (NW) 137 ptly cldy none 02:00 20 12 10 298 (WNW) 154 ptly cldy none 03:00 19 9 10 278 (W) 157 ptly cldy none 04:00 19 6 16 319 (NW) 158 mstly clr none 05:00 19 6 16 307 (NW) 153 mstly clr none 06:00 19 6 12 325 (NW) 124 mstly clr none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
