There were high. They were thin. There were persistent. BUT WE PREVAILED!!! We were open almost all night but counts were pretty low for our bright targets and we closed at 6:00. Seeing was pretty good all night and DIS behaved very well! NM03 brought up two trainees (Matt Varakian, Kelly Anderson) who did a great job and should be pros by the end of tomorrow night :) No problems tonight. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:14 tcamera 932( 1054) 52 45 1.1 4.0 3.2 3.9 1.7 -- 1.25 00:29 dcamera 693( 349) 257 66 -0.7 -0.8 -0.3 -1.1 -1.0 -- 1.16 03:44 dcamera 641( 308) 1 42 -0.1 -0.9 -0.5 -1.2 -0.6 -- 1.55 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 42 -4 9 239 (WSW) 296 mstly cldy none 17:00 37 -8 6 228 (SW) 266 mstly cldy none 18:00 35 -10 4 252 (WSW) 345 mstly cldy none 19:00 34 -10 6 188 (S) 341 mstly cldy none 20:00 35 -9 18 190 (S) 335 mstly cldy none 21:00 33 -11 12 190 (S) 279 mstly cldy none 22:00 33 -11 15 182 (S) 125 mstly cldy none 23:00 32 -13 11 182 (S) 168 cloudy none 00:00 31 -1 13 213 (SSW) 319 cloudy none 01:00 31 -5 13 186 (S) 313 cloudy none 02:00 31 -1 15 219 (SW) 379 cloudy none 03:00 31 -4 8 225 (SW) 366 cloudy none 04:00 31 1 8 263 (W) 395 cloudy none 05:00 30 1 9 196 (SSW) 444 cloudy none 06:00 31 4 10 187 (S) 557 cloudy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
