Bit of a surprise, as it had not been forecasted. Snow program was started after checkout (There was about 1-2 inches of snow on roof of dome). Snow fell until around 21:00, then high humidity afterwards. Another bout of snow hit around 22:00, then back to fog/high humidity. We did not open. Snow program was stopped at 05:30 and the scope was left parked at (0,10). ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 28 27 15 264 (W) cloudy lt snow 17:00 28 28 15 231 (SW) cloudy lt snow 18:00 28 28 22 247 (WSW) cloudy snow 19:00 28 28 27 246 (WSW) cloudy snow 20:00 27 27 20 270 (W) cloudy lt snow 21:00 26 26 24 252 (WSW) cloudy humid 22:00 26 26 24 258 (WSW) cloudy lt snow 23:00 27 26 23 258 (WSW) cloudy fog 00:00 27 26 25 270 (W) cloudy fog 01:00 26 25 21 273 (W) cloudy humid 02:00 26 25 18 270 (W) cloudy humid 03:00 27 26 19 265 (W) cloudy humid 04:00 26 26 19 268 (W) cloudy fog 05:00 26 25 18 251 (WSW) cloudy humid Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
