There was still precipitation near us on the radar, so we did not open right away. The rain passed, but humidity was high. Humidity was forcasted to back off shortly, so we risked an opening despite the humidity. Humidity stayed borderline high until 22:00, then backed off. We powered through it and did not close. Humidity came back around 00:00, but only low borderline, again, we stayed open. We stayed open until dawn. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:27 dcamera 552( 347) 49 43 0.0 1.6 2.1 2.0 0.6 - 1.30 22:33 dcamera 671( 372) 82 84 0.2 0.2 0.8 0.1 0.2 - 1.15 00:23 arctic 761( 604) -79 74 0.4 -0.0 0.6 0.2 0.2 SDSS_u 1.49 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 40 29 8 262 (W) 234 ptly cldy none 17:00 36 27 9 262 (W) 215 ptly cldy none 18:00 34 27 8 232 (SW) 258 ptly cldy none 19:00 33 27 7 237 (WSW) 305 ptly cldy none 20:00 32 28 8 190 (S) mstly clr none 21:00 32 29 8 203 (SSW) clear humid 22:00 33 28 8 223 (SW) clear none 23:00 33 26 8 262 (W) clear none 00:00 33 27 6 261 (W) clear none 01:00 32 27 4 272 (W) clear none 02:00 32 27 8 264 (W) clear none 03:00 32 27 12 304 (NW) clear none 04:00 32 26 14 308 (NW) clear none 05:00 32 26 15 291 (WNW) clear none 06:00 31 26 12 308 (NW) mstly clr none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
