It was calm with decent seeing. Around 20:00 the humidity began to creep up, though. It got close, but did not exceed, safe limits. By 22:00 humidity was not a problem anymore. It stayed clear all night. Some clouds began to come through around 05:00, but no precip so we stayed open. We were open all night. Arctic was left at 28 degrees on NA2 per observer's request for cals. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 17:17 tcamera 517( 728) 115 73 2.2 4.6 4.8 4.5 3.1 - 1.38 18:43 tcamera 510( 614) -49 64 2.2 2.2 3.1 2.4 2.2 - 1.02 00:19 arctic 490( 480) -10 57 1.8 0.8 1.6 1.1 1.5 SDSS_r 1.26 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 42 31 6 252 (WSW) 248 mstly clr none 17:00 36 29 12 289 (WNW) 155 clear none 18:00 36 29 16 321 (NW) 159 clear none 19:00 36 29 11 337 (NNW) 161 clear none 20:00 35 30 16 314 (NW) clear none 21:00 36 29 7 266 (W) clear none 22:00 36 28 12 4 (N) 121 clear none 23:00 35 27 14 354 (N) 139 clear none 00:00 35 27 13 6 (N) 123 clear none 01:00 36 26 8 7 (N) 97 clear none 02:00 35 25 5 20 (NNE) 93 clear none 03:00 37 18 6 28 (NNE) 50 clear none 04:00 37 20 2 214 (SW) 51 clear none 05:00 35 20 6 256 (WSW) 63 mstly clr none 06:00 34 24 3 194 (SSW) 87 mstly clr none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
