The target for the second half program was too low at the start of their time so they let the first half run long. Then the target turned out to be behind some low clouds lurking to the east, so I counted some time as lost to weather. But they were able to get on target before the expected time of ingress, so hopefully the data will be useful. ARCSAT found many creative ways to be annoying - crashing MaxIm when I clicked on one dialog box, refusing to run when I didn't click on a different dialog box, sending focus to the far hinterlands, opening and closing windows whenever I tried to foreground the screen-sharing window. But eventually ARCSAT worked too. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 17:56 dcamera 351( 450) 43 49 5.1 6.8 6.7 6.7 5.5 - 1.34 00:40 arctic 470( 528) 77 58 3.8 2.3 3.3 2.6 3.1 u 1.34 00:44 arctic 460( 518) 76 59 3.8 2.3 3.3 2.6 3.1 r 1.04 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 44 12 9 246 (WSW) 109 ptly cldy none 17:00 41 16 8 303 (WNW) 236 ptly cldy none 18:00 41 15 10 289 (WNW) 165 ptly cldy none 19:00 40 15 16 308 (NW) 103 ptly cldy none 20:00 40 10 14 303 (WNW) 41 ptly cldy none 21:00 39 11 12 308 (NW) 58 mstly clr none 22:00 39 12 15 316 (NW) 115 mstly clr none 23:00 38 13 11 327 (NNW) 91 mstly clr none 00:00 39 12 2 282 (WNW) 95 clear none 01:00 39 13 13 352 (N) 119 mstly clr none 02:00 39 13 3 313 (NW) 95 clear none 03:00 39 9 19 353 (N) 129 clear none 04:00 39 11 12 14 (NNE) 128 clear none 05:00 40 7 13 8 (N) 107 clear none 06:00 39 8 26 16 (NNE) 100 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
