Russet took throughput measurements with ARCTIC while I started working on getting finder charts and adding to the wiki page set up for the measurements with ARCTIC. The second half of the night went smooth with some clouds coming in the later portion of the night. Ed notified me of a UPS failure on the intermediate level in the morning. He will look at it when he comes in. No problems otherwise. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 17:52 arctic 355( 292) 16 62 -2.4 -0.3 -0.2 -0.9 -1.8 SDSS_r 1.30 19:34 arctic 486( 409) -63 36 -0.7 -1.0 -0.7 -1.1 -0.2 SDSS_r 1.30 00:10 ecamera 445( -690) 205 66 2.5 0.4 0.8 0.8 1.9 ND3 1.10 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 30 24 4 354 (N) 105 clear none 17:00 29 18 8 357 (N) 75 clear none 18:00 28 16 15 6 (N) 102 clear none 19:00 31 15 14 6 (N) 55 clear none 20:00 33 14 11 21 (NNE) 59 clear none 21:00 31 14 8 11 (N) 54 clear none 22:00 31 18 6 73 (ENE) 60 clear none 23:00 32 7 15 27 (NNE) 40 clear none 00:00 36 -3 3 357 (N) 47 clear none 01:00 34 -10 9 52 (NE) 58 clear none 02:00 36 -9 4 354 (N) 47 mstly clr none 03:00 40 -9 1 305 (NW) 38 mstly clr none 04:00 37 -11 2 260 (W) 30 mstly clr none 05:00 37 -11 3 294 (WNW) 43 ptly cldy none 06:00 37 -11 4 282 (WNW) 23 ptly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
