Evening started with somewhat thick cirrus clouds, but NM05 had bright targets, so we were able to power though it. Forcasted humidity never arrived, so that was good as well. Seeing was average to good. Around 22:00 clouds thinned, but this dropped temperatures and increased the RH. NM05 ended a little early, gave the time to JH05. Humidity stayed borderline, and clouds were present, but observer was able to get data, and we stayed open all night. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 17:17 ecamera 524( -103) 60 74 7.7 11.3 10.7 11.3 9.6 ND3 1.27 18:01 ecamera 455( -245) 313 67 8.4 9.6 9.6 9.3 8.6 ND2 0.88 19:29 ecamera 408( -347) 159 56 8.4 8.3 8.8 8.1 8.1 ND1 1.01 00:02 NICFPS 423( 1055) 143 84 7.8 7.2 7.8 7.3 7.4 MK-Ks 1.06 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 48 41 6 262 (W) 103 ptly cldy none 17:00 47 40 7 243 (WSW) 79 ptly cldy none 18:00 47 40 9 251 (WSW) 128 ptly cldy none 19:00 47 40 7 264 (W) 127 ptly cldy none 20:00 48 39 6 257 (WSW) 116 ptly cldy none 21:00 47 40 7 263 (W) 152 mstly clr none 22:00 46 41 11 273 (W) 138 mstly clr none 23:00 47 39 12 297 (WNW) mstly clr none 00:00 46 39 8 290 (WNW) 121 ptly cldy none 01:00 46 39 19 301 (WNW) 149 ptly cldy none 02:00 46 40 16 306 (NW) 114 ptly cldy none 03:00 44 40 15 296 (WNW) ptly cldy none 04:00 46 40 17 292 (WNW) 110 ptly cldy none 05:00 45 39 19 291 (WNW) 109 ptly cldy none 06:00 45 39 16 295 (WNW) 146 ptly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
