After that, it was pure lies. Once darkness fell, the temperature rose and it it rained. All night. Fog. And Rain. NOT snow. Not only did we not get snow this evening, the rain took away what snow we had!! I ran snow program until 9pm, at which point the winds started gusting above 35mph and I parked east. I did not park south because the winds are blowing directly from the south and I've make that mistake once already. Plus, it's not like there's any SNOW ON THE ROOF!! Winds got up to over 60mph and I can't believe we didn't go on generator power! We had one tiny flicker at 11pm but that was it. Winds were 50mph at the time of this report. No problems tonight. AND no snow >:[ ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 31 31 19 138 (SE) clear snow 17:00 32 32 19 162 (SSE) clear snow 18:00 32 32 27 141 (SE) clear lt snow 19:00 34 32 31 177 (S) clear lt rain 20:00 32 32 22 157 (SSE) 712 clear rain 21:00 31 32 25 146 (SE) 200 cloudy rain 22:00 34 32 16 152 (SSE) 1965 cloudy rain 23:00 36 32 42 191 (S) 2621 cloudy rain 00:00 36 32 30 170 (S) 1687 cloudy rain 01:00 36 32 28 167 (SSE) 6946 cloudy rain 02:00 37 32 42 189 (S) 5313 cloudy rain 03:00 38 31 44 188 (S) 5830 cloudy rain 04:00 36 32 36 176 (S) cloudy rain 05:00 37 32 37 188 (S) 16270 cloudy lt rain Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
