Since the air temperature was above freezing, I decided to run the roof heaters to try and melt what was left. Warm air and an assist from the roof heaters took care of what was (hopefully) the last of the snow, and we opened at 20:00. Skies were mostly clear but with haze and occasional clouds. Seeing was ok, and improved after midnight. We were open for the rest of the night. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:08 dcamera 360( 327) -22 50 2.6 4.0 3.8 3.8 2.8 - 1.22 21:22 dcamera 410( 368) -92 44 4.3 3.8 4.1 3.7 4.1 - 1.43 00:44 ecamera 398( -564) 174 70 4.8 4.1 4.7 4.2 4.2 ND1 0.73 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 40 29 2 330 (NNW) 134 mstly clr none 17:00 39 14 5 354 (N) 70 mstly clr none 18:00 40 5 5 292 (WNW) 79 mstly clr none 19:00 38 2 3 338 (NNW) 88 mstly clr none 20:00 35 11 2 240 (WSW) 90 mstly clr none 21:00 40 -3 7 289 (WNW) 74 mstly clr none 22:00 41 -2 6 277 (W) 73 mstly clr none 23:00 41 -2 8 269 (W) 80 mstly clr none 00:00 40 -3 10 274 (W) 65 mstly clr none 01:00 41 -2 7 270 (W) 82 mstly clr none 02:00 40 -3 8 254 (WSW) 74 mstly clr none 03:00 39 -4 7 266 (W) 83 mstly clr none 04:00 39 -4 12 273 (W) 118 mstly clr none 05:00 37 -5 10 324 (NW) 80 mstly clr none 06:00 38 -7 17 340 (NNW) 89 mstly clr none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
