I zero'ed the NA2 rotator, -0.205. Humidity climbed to near closure limits around sunset. Mostly I spent the first hour just doing in dome stuff while I waited to see what the humidity was going to do. Clouds came around 20:00, just as I was getting ready to focus AGILE for our drop in program. We gave about 1 hr of time to OU02, although they fought clouds thru most of it. They said 27 frames out of 44 were totally lost due to clouds. By 21:20 we were mostly cloudy and I was more concerned at that point with the humidity in the dome, so we opted to close. While closed, I restarted the hub, tcc, and reconnected TUI and checked that everything reconnected properly. After restarts we did some closed dome slew/tracking tests, to see if we could see any issues we have been having the past week or so. Clouds came and went but humidity stayed high. Russet ran some red spectrograph focus tests. I worked on the new AutoNight logging program. We never opened and fog descended upon us around 04:00. We had a couple of power flickers around 06:20 while I was up in the dome filling instruments. Not long enough to kick on the generator, we are still on mains. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:21 AGILE 617(-1085) 84 71 12.2 11.8 11.4 11.7 11.2 BG40 1.50 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 21 233 (SW) cloudy fog 17:00 16 257 (WSW) ptly cldy none 18:00 16 235 (SW) mstly clr none 19:00 14 242 (WSW) mstly clr none 20:00 15 255 (WSW) mstly cldy humid 21:00 16 238 (WSW) mstly cldy humid 22:00 10 201 (SSW) ptly cldy humid 23:00 14 219 (SW) mstly cldy humid 00:00 14 211 (SSW) mstly cldy humid 01:00 9 219 (SW) ptly cldy humid 02:00 10 256 (WSW) mstly cldy humid 03:00 11 261 (W) mstly cldy humid 04:00 15 234 (SW) cloudy fog 05:00 9 257 (WSW) cloudy fog 06:00 17 235 (SW) cloudy fog Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
