There were several thousand!!! located in the arcade, lower level and mid level of the 3.5m tonight. I tried to open some doors and persuade them to leave. Hopefully we will get a freeze pretty soon and kill all of these pests. Around 03:00 we had some thin clouds from the north descend upon us. Clouds cleared out about 1.5hrs later and then the cold front came in around 05:30 and seeing went from sub arc second to 3.5+ arc second, along with the outside air temps dropping to -0.5C (hopefully cold enough to kill some moths) and the humidity shooting up. At the very end of the night the echelle failed at reading the 4th of 5 biases for the user. I don't know what the problem is. 2019-10-24 12:59:17 GS03.Neda.echelleExpose 2253 echelle f text="exceptions.RuntimeError: No data read" ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:57 dcamera 333( 615) 88 66 8.1 10.9 10.5 10.4 8.9 -- 1.07 20:44 dcamera 400( 575) -56 70 8.6 8.7 9.0 8.4 8.5 -- 0.98 21:25 dcamera 469( 633) -71 62 8.7 8.4 8.9 8.3 8.4 -- 1.00 01:12 ecamera 371( -396) -120 38 8.7 7.8 8.5 7.6 8.2 clear 0.90 02:35 ecamera 346( -436) 26 35 8.5 7.4 8.1 7.1 7.8 clear 0.89 04:19 ecamera 403( -420) -101 66 6.9 7.0 7.7 7.0 6.9 clear 0.82 06:15 APOLLO 403( 1193) 79 36 -0.1 2.4 4.0 2.7 0.9 -- 3.50 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 50 13 6 275 (W) 174 clear none 17:00 49 13 12 338 (NNW) 147 clear none 18:00 48 15 1 259 (W) 217 clear none 19:00 46 16 3 308 (NW) 206 clear none 20:00 47 15 10 271 (W) 154 clear none 21:00 48 14 8 270 (W) 189 clear none 22:00 48 16 8 264 (W) 306 clear none 23:00 47 16 7 253 (WSW) 599 clear none 00:00 48 16 3 213 (SSW) 669 clear none 01:00 48 16 5 250 (WSW) 759 clear none 02:00 48 16 2 197 (SSW) 668 clear none 03:00 47 16 5 186 (S) 718 ptly cldy none 04:00 45 17 9 135 (SE) 649 ptly cldy none 05:00 44 17 9 162 (SSE) 761 mstly clr none 06:00 33 19 15 78 (ENE) 568 mstly clr none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
