We had far too much fun looking at planets, galaxies, planetary nebulae, galaxy clusters, globular clusters! Seeing wasn't fabulous until after midnight when it became sub-arcsecond and all the clouds had cleared out. OU02 was a drop in program that took 1.6 hours from DD01. However, it wasn't really taking away any time as the last tour finished at 23:30 (it just meant that David and I weren't able to operate the eyepiece willy nilly). No problems tonight. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 22:42 AGILE 385(-1568) 332 60 5.9 6.3 7.0 6.1 6.1 BG40-B 1.34 00:25 NICFPS 449( 1099) 310 46 8.4 7.2 7.8 7.2 8.1 MK-H 1.70 01:36 NICFPS 482( 1142) 159 53 9.1 7.6 8.2 7.5 8.2 MK-H 0.84 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 51 36 8 285 (WNW) ptly cldy none 17:00 52 30 14 301 (WNW) ptly cldy none 18:00 51 28 0 183 (S) mstly clr none 19:00 49 28 4 27 (NNE) mstly clr none 20:00 48 29 17 60 (ENE) ptly cldy none 21:00 47 29 13 83 (E) ptly cldy none 22:00 45 25 20 72 (ENE) mstly clr none 23:00 44 25 20 68 (ENE) clear none 00:00 43 25 16 79 (E) clear none 01:00 47 25 12 84 (E) clear none 02:00 48 23 11 83 (E) clear none 03:00 46 22 11 83 (E) clear none 04:00 44 24 17 78 (ENE) clear none 05:00 42 24 6 89 (E) clear none 06:00 45 21 1 202 (SSW) clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
