We used the time to do rough pointing tests for echelle, arctic, and agile. We were unable to do a shack-hartman due to a moth in the light path, but we did test in and out of focus star images, and saw that collimation is not very far off as it stands. More tests on the artic filter wheel were done while the dome was closed as well. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 54 49 1 221 (SW) cloudy rain 17:00 53 49 1 228 (SW) cloudy lt rain 18:00 51 49 17 64 (ENE) mstly cldy lt rain 19:00 51 49 17 67 (ENE) mstly cldy humid 20:00 50 48 19 66 (ENE) mstly cldy humid 21:00 50 48 15 67 (ENE) mstly clr humid 22:00 50 47 20 70 (ENE) mstly clr humid 23:00 52 42 27 67 (ENE) 76 mstly clr none 00:00 49 43 19 66 (ENE) 127 mstly clr none 01:00 47 46 24 67 (ENE) clear humid 02:00 46 45 18 76 (ENE) clear humid 03:00 49 43 18 48 (NE) clear humid 04:00 49 39 19 54 (NE) clear humid 05:00 46 41 14 64 (ENE) 93 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
