We started the engineering tasks tonight by re-connecting the video feed on the shack-hartmann at the camera. It was disturbed when they cleaned the moth out of the lenslet array. Russet spent some time with the Shack-Hartmann getting collimation improved. I then took a 100 pt pointing model. I reduced the data but left the analysis for Russet to determine if we should implement or not since we had a few outliers. I did check pointing on the NA1 port (after collimation adjustment, but without pointing model implementation). The pointing looks fine so we should be good for 1st half tomorrow. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:06 NICFPS 634( 1734) 6 53 14.8 17.5 17.7 17.2 15.4 Ks 1.10 01:48 shack 850( 1765) -146 63 14.8 13.1 13.6 13.0 13.8 -- 1.00 03:09 guider 704( 1274) -102 41 15.1 13.8 14.6 13.9 14.5 B 1.30 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 65 41 2 174 (S) 313 mstly cldy none 17:00 64 40 9 110 (ESE) 262 mstly cldy none 18:00 63 41 5 118 (ESE) 331 mstly cldy none 19:00 61 40 8 89 (E) 251 ptly cldy none 20:00 59 41 14 83 (E) 326 mstly clr none 21:00 58 42 11 88 (E) 375 mstly clr none 22:00 57 43 12 88 (E) 496 mstly clr none 23:00 56 44 14 80 (E) 469 mstly clr none 00:00 55 43 16 78 (ENE) 515 mstly clr none 01:00 55 39 14 79 (E) 403 clear none 02:00 59 38 10 79 (E) 358 clear none 03:00 59 37 8 39 (NE) 350 clear none 04:00 59 37 10 54 (NE) 346 clear none 05:00 56 31 13 79 (E) 308 clear none 06:00 56 31 15 76 (ENE) 331 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
