No rain. It was literally coming at us from al directions and we didn't get a drop! I can still see it now on the next ridge and nothing. Maybe it’ll let lose in the afternoon. WY01 didn’t get any time :( Training: Dawn of the First Day - 72 hours remain The Colgate Crew are here and were all ready to go...and wait. We decided to wait until 04:45 in the hopes of a single ABBA. Mama Mia, we opened at 4:45! And we got about 1 ABBA. So, not great for science but the students got some experience with panic and moving fast in order to maximize the little bit of time they had. No problems tonight. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 77 32 9 263 (W) 696 mstly cldy none 17:00 71 34 8 219 (SW) 737 mstly cldy none 18:00 66 37 4 134 (SE) 610 cloudy none 19:00 67 33 8 148 (SSE) 705 cloudy none 20:00 66 36 10 152 (SSE) 846 cloudy dust 21:00 62 42 16 134 (SE) 4802 cloudy none 22:00 61 44 22 126 (SE) 1816 cloudy none 23:00 61 43 20 138 (SE) 1320 cloudy none 00:00 60 43 17 136 (SE) 1325 cloudy none 01:00 60 41 13 142 (SE) 1076 cloudy none 02:00 62 37 13 180 (S) 785 cloudy none 03:00 61 37 13 181 (S) 864 cloudy none 04:00 60 37 7 126 (SE) 725 mstly cldy none 05:00 59 39 13 207 (SSW) 726 cloudy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
