Everything was good until about 6:30 when internet went down, taking the phones with it. I didn't realize you could actually talk on a fax phone... Jon suggested I unplug the UPS to the microwave connection in the arcade and plug back in. Fun fact, false black widows live behind the beams by the window, climbers beware! But it was eating the giant flying ants so it's a good spider. Internet was restored at 20:21 and UW07 could continue their cals. We dealt with clouds most of the night but it basically cleared up after midnight. There was no rain but there was a fire! In Ruidoso there's a large wildfire (Soldier Canyon) and we should keep an eye on it. I could not smell any smoke at any point in the night but the wind was always coming from the S/SW. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- UW07 D I/U 20:14 20:21 Internet loss ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:07 dcamera 213( 1038) 240 59 20.3 22.0 21.8 21.9 20.2 -- 1.26 22:14 dcamera 401( 1084) -38 50 19.1 19.2 19.8 19.0 18.9 -- 1.22 00:21 ecamera 242( -9) 114 66 18.6 17.7 18.2 17.4 17.8 clear 1.01 05:08 APOLLO 325( 1811) 104 10 16.9 16.4 17.2 16.8 16.8 530 1.15 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 76 32 7 256 (WSW) 856 ptly cldy none 17:00 73 31 7 268 (W) 676 ptly cldy none 18:00 74 29 13 274 (W) 680 ptly cldy none 19:00 72 28 13 243 (WSW) 685 mstly cldy none 20:00 68 24 6 286 (WNW) 793 mstly cldy none 21:00 67 23 6 282 (WNW) 757 ptly cldy none 22:00 67 24 8 227 (SW) 728 ptly cldy none 23:00 65 23 6 239 (WSW) 873 ptly cldy none 00:00 66 22 8 257 (WSW) 881 ptly cldy none 01:00 66 24 4 195 (SSW) 952 mstly clr none 02:00 66 23 3 281 (W) 1017 mstly clr none 03:00 61 34 17 135 (SE) 1549 mstly clr none 04:00 61 35 10 112 (ESE) 1360 mstly clr none 05:00 63 31 8 123 (ESE) 1300 mstly clr none 06:00 63 27 2 194 (SSW) 1144 mstly clr none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
