The clouds were heavier tonight and the seeing not really any better, but the visiting instrument was able to get a lock on a few targets. We closed for a little while due to a dust spike that I didn't understand - it didn't seem to be smoke. Once I felt that it was safe and the clouds might actually let some photons through, we re-opened. But then the clouds and dust came back again, so we closed and just took cals. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 68 40 6 180 (S) 666 cloudy lt rain 17:00 63 43 21 120 (ESE) 889 cloudy none 18:00 60 42 16 84 (E) 499 cloudy none 19:00 62 39 9 90 (E) 501 cloudy none 20:00 66 36 21 148 (SSE) 514 mstly cldy none 21:00 65 36 22 151 (SSE) 471 mstly cldy none 22:00 65 38 17 150 (SSE) 517 ptly cldy none 23:00 64 40 21 143 (SE) 583 ptly cldy none 00:00 63 40 19 161 (SSE) 660 ptly cldy none 01:00 63 39 25 183 (S) 822 mstly cldy none 02:00 62 37 21 185 (S) 3426 mstly cldy none 03:00 59 38 17 161 (SSE) 2753 mstly cldy none 04:00 58 39 21 198 (SSW) 5050 mstly cldy none 05:00 57 40 15 183 (S) 5944 mstly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
