We had some network issues during the afternoon checkout. I called Jon to see where the issue was. He thought it was between us and Tularsa. Wind closed us down around 22:05, then dust, then clouds. The conditions finally improved enought that I felt we could safely open around 04:15. Unfortunately there was not enough time left for my observer to get data on their target (they needed about 1hr minimum), so we called it a night. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:26 tcamera 491( 1323) 60 56 16.1 18.1 19.1 17.8 16.4 Ks 3.00 19:27 tcamera 491( 1319) 60 56 16.1 18.1 19.1 17.8 16.4 Ks 3.00 20:28 tcamera 636( 1375) 54 37 15.8 16.1 17.0 15.9 15.8 Ks 3.00 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 73 32 1 225 (SW) 279 clear none 17:00 66 28 5 86 (E) 1627 clear none 18:00 65 28 15 79 (E) 1831 clear none 19:00 64 30 19 81 (E) 1849 clear none 20:00 62 30 27 74 (ENE) 2222 clear none 21:00 60 31 24 76 (ENE) 2566 clear none 22:00 60 31 30 69 (ENE) 2695 clear none 23:00 59 33 37 71 (ENE) 2708 clear none 00:00 57 37 28 82 (E) 3597 clear none 01:00 55 39 24 80 (E) 3742 mstly clr none 02:00 53 43 21 80 (E) 3295 mstly cldy none 03:00 53 46 16 79 (E) 2911 mstly cldy none 04:00 56 45 19 110 (ESE) 2880 ptly cldy none 05:00 53 45 20 110 (ESE) 2668 ptly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
