We had a great night! No clouds, no wind, no dust, little humidity, and good seeing and boy did we need it. WY01 were looking at faint quasars, so faint that it took me probably 15 min to identify their target (and that was only by using manual guiding on the field and hoping for some lucky seeing). But, once we finally found it, things were great! ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:59 tcamera 537( 1491) 146 76 18.9 20.8 20.8 20.4 18.8 -- 1.21 21:03 tcamera 487( 1350) 126 66 17.8 18.9 19.3 18.4 17.5 -- 1.08 00:18 dcamera 385( 959) 266 47 18.4 16.9 17.5 16.8 17.3 -- 1.62 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 72 33 6 265 (W) 489 clear none 17:00 73 35 17 252 (WSW) 518 clear none 18:00 71 35 11 283 (WNW) 558 clear none 19:00 72 36 6 283 (WNW) 646 clear none 20:00 68 34 9 267 (W) 691 clear none 21:00 66 26 17 242 (WSW) 625 clear none 22:00 64 21 11 245 (WSW) 592 clear none 23:00 64 20 7 215 (SW) 503 clear none 00:00 65 21 6 188 (S) 476 clear none 01:00 63 20 9 217 (SW) 546 clear none 02:00 65 21 5 207 (SSW) 542 clear none 03:00 65 21 6 207 (SSW) 519 clear none 04:00 66 20 1 196 (SSW) 528 clear none 05:00 60 19 8 357 (N) 582 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
