Eventually the rain stopped, but the threat of rain was not far away from us on the radar. It was not until 02:55 that the returns were dying enough that we were confident to open. When we did, it was clear, with good seeing. We stayed open until the observer was done with the telescope. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 03:03 dcamera 377( 826) 92 60 14.4 14.7 14.9 14.9 14.7 - 1.18 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 59 44 14 79 (E) cloudy none 17:00 67 42 6 105 (ESE) cloudy none 18:00 65 40 8 109 (ESE) cloudy lt rain 19:00 63 38 21 197 (SSW) cloudy rain 20:00 57 42 13 31 (NNE) cloudy lt rain 21:00 56 43 9 5 (N) cloudy none 22:00 58 39 9 48 (NE) cloudy none 23:00 60 39 13 14 (NNE) ptly cldy none 00:00 61 37 6 337 (NNW) ptly cldy none 01:00 60 37 3 264 (W) mstly clr none 02:00 60 37 3 233 (SW) clear none 03:00 59 38 6 184 (S) clear none 04:00 58 39 8 129 (SE) clear none 05:00 60 38 3 161 (SSE) mstly clr none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
