I checked again for obstructions (wind was calm) and anything else that could have caused it. I could not find anything. I restarted the enclosure motors and proceeded. No other incidents during checkout. Skies were clear and calm with good seeing. We stayed open all night. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:42 dcamera 423( 1251) -16 74 20.1 22.2 22.5 22.1 20.6 - 0.99 01:25 dcamera 365( 999) 189 62 19.2 18.3 19.0 18.0 18.4 - 1.05 03:19 arctic 451( 1204) 91 61 17.4 17.7 18.4 17.6 17.7 Semrock-5 0.88 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 73 27 8 225 (SW) 737 clear none 17:00 78 33 13 259 (W) 746 clear none 18:00 73 30 9 253 (WSW) 695 clear none 19:00 73 28 6 215 (SW) 678 clear none 20:00 69 24 10 226 (SW) 833 clear none 21:00 66 22 8 188 (S) 810 clear none 22:00 67 21 7 182 (S) 1031 clear none 23:00 67 22 6 189 (S) 1059 clear none 00:00 67 22 6 204 (SSW) 952 clear none 01:00 66 21 5 193 (SSW) 889 clear none 02:00 66 20 5 214 (SW) 877 clear none 03:00 66 21 6 204 (SSW) 763 clear none 04:00 65 20 5 217 (SW) 745 clear none 05:00 64 20 9 217 (SW) 725 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
