We finially opened at 00:35 and were able to get about 30 mins of data before clouds came over us just as the first half program finished. I used a bright star to focus the Echelle for the 2nd half, and then handed the telescope to that program. It looks like this is the last band of clouds and hopefully clear skies afterwards. Closed at 02:30 due to a few raindrops in the area. Radar showed possible precipitation to our west until around 05:00, at which time there was not enought time left for the 2nd half observer to get any useful data, so we called it for the night at that point. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 23:44 NICFPS 391( 1387) -38 80 15.5 15.8 16.0 16.0 15.7 H 0.75 00:14 ecamera 315( -46) -65 74 15.6 15.6 15.9 15.7 15.6 ND1 0.80 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 73 26 10 211 (SSW) 988 ptly cldy none 17:00 68 23 15 256 (WSW) 919 ptly cldy none 18:00 65 22 7 260 (W) 1007 ptly cldy none 19:00 65 22 11 252 (WSW) 1041 ptly cldy none 20:00 61 18 7 221 (SW) 1019 mstly cldy none 21:00 61 20 11 210 (SSW) 1407 mstly cldy none 22:00 61 23 9 193 (SSW) 1251 mstly cldy none 23:00 60 23 11 203 (SSW) 1348 mstly cldy none 00:00 60 24 12 208 (SSW) 1352 mstly cldy none 01:00 60 22 11 239 (WSW) 1263 mstly cldy none 02:00 59 22 14 213 (SSW) 1315 mstly cldy lt rain 03:00 59 21 13 186 (S) 1253 mstly cldy lt rain 04:00 58 22 4 195 (SSW) 1332 mstly cldy none 05:00 57 21 15 220 (SW) 1042 ptly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
