We were basically overcast until nearly midnight, not even the moon was visible. When we did open there were still lots of clouds that kept things at either no photons or saturating making it impossible to focus or even calculate a rough focus, so I just tried to make the saturated spots round. However, the clouds parted for JH02 and they had good seeing and basically clear skies their whole half. So what ever he's doing, we gotta do that. At one point when I went to slew to a focus star, I was given a tcc timeout error track 179.... failed: Timeout; Actor='tcc'; Cmd='track 179.0408333, 15.5938889 FK5=2009.5/Name="95 Leo"/RotAngle=0/RotType=Object/Magnitude=5.53' However, I executed the slew again and everything was fine. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 00:14 ecamera 342( 46) 16 77 15.8 16.9 17.6 16.6 16.1 Clear 0.96 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 77 31 19 225 (SW) 1218 mstly cldy none 17:00 72 27 20 224 (SW) 1489 mstly cldy none 18:00 69 25 15 244 (WSW) 1449 mstly cldy none 19:00 67 22 14 234 (SW) 1379 cloudy none 20:00 66 21 14 217 (SW) 1556 cloudy none 21:00 66 21 12 212 (SSW) 1668 cloudy none 22:00 66 21 15 200 (SSW) 1753 cloudy none 23:00 65 21 18 149 (SSE) 1528 mstly cldy none 00:00 65 22 10 165 (SSE) 1550 mstly cldy none 01:00 61 26 9 222 (SW) 1521 ptly cldy none 02:00 59 16 9 303 (WNW) 986 clear none 03:00 58 16 8 282 (WNW) 991 clear none 04:00 60 18 15 221 (SW) 736 clear none 05:00 58 14 10 225 (SW) 744 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
