We opened just after sunset when they had finished. A nice clear night all night, seeing wasn't the greatest thought. We started with around 1 arc sec seeing but soon after seeing degraded to about 2.5 arc sec. It slowly got better during the night and back to around 1.4 by the end of the night. My observers target was setting, so they wouldn't have enough time for another data cube, so we closed a little early. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:55 naic 320( 1520) 9 53 14.6 16.5 16.5 16.2 15.0 6563 1.00 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 66 24 9 200 (SSW) 1893 clear none 17:00 68 22 18 253 (WSW) 1946 clear none 18:00 65 22 16 209 (SSW) 2258 clear none 19:00 64 20 14 232 (SW) 2318 clear none 20:00 60 17 10 187 (S) 2511 clear none 21:00 58 16 12 210 (SSW) 2593 clear none 22:00 50 42 11 88 (E) 1568 clear none 23:00 51 39 4 111 (ESE) 1947 clear none 00:00 54 32 4 185 (S) 1970 clear none 01:00 54 32 4 122 (ESE) 1731 clear none 02:00 52 35 10 152 (SSE) 1501 clear none 03:00 54 34 12 184 (S) 1768 clear none 04:00 53 37 17 184 (S) 1219 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
