I delayed the az drive testing until the rain subsided. Initial checkout of instruments (after network switch power cycled today), everything seemed happy except Agile needed a little more TLC, basically just reconnecting the filter wheel. Reset controllers, alt, az, na2, agile zero'ed NA2 rotator (-0.200) Az drive oscillation testing while we were closed. Weather kept us closed all night. We had a short break in the clouds around 2:15 but there were bad storms very close and a storm moving towards us from the south. I opted to stay closed rather than risk rain on the mirror. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 61 42 17 126 (SE) 1381 mstly cldy none 17:00 61 39 27 135 (SE) 1349 cloudy none 18:00 59 38 23 153 (SSE) 1315 cloudy none 19:00 57 39 24 129 (SE) 1439 cloudy rain 20:00 53 44 17 88 (E) 1529 cloudy rain 21:00 50 42 15 91 (E) cloudy none 22:00 57 33 16 187 (S) 1742 cloudy none 23:00 52 38 26 148 (SSE) 1355 cloudy none 00:00 51 37 33 137 (SE) 1278 cloudy none 01:00 49 38 17 120 (ESE) 1398 cloudy none 02:00 47 41 17 113 (ESE) 1430 mstly cldy none 03:00 49 42 21 126 (SE) 1284 ptly cldy none 04:00 46 42 13 114 (ESE) cloudy humid 05:00 44 43 13 103 (ESE) cloudy humid Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
