Slew tests had to be skipped on account of wind. We did not open right away for the same reason. It began to clear and by 21:46 winds had died down enough to safely open. Sinusoidal noise was observed on the az telemetry (last night as well...forgot to mention it in the log). After 21:46 we observed all night. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 21:55 dcamera 325( 759) 57 61 12.1 14.4 14.8 14.6 12.8 - 1.19 00:25 dcamera 468( 764) 258 69 11.7 11.8 12.4 11.8 11.8 - 1.22 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 67 21 16 265 (W) 1824 cloudy none 17:00 63 19 23 262 (W) 1963 cloudy none 18:00 61 17 31 230 (SW) 2803 cloudy none 19:00 59 17 21 239 (WSW) 3600 cloudy none 20:00 58 14 28 206 (SSW) 2631 ptly cldy none 21:00 55 19 28 224 (SW) 2365 mstly clr none 22:00 55 21 19 213 (SSW) 2142 clear none 23:00 54 23 16 235 (SW) 2111 clear none 00:00 53 22 18 262 (W) 1876 clear none 01:00 52 23 17 246 (WSW) 1488 clear none 02:00 51 24 18 261 (W) 1249 clear none 03:00 50 27 20 271 (W) 1296 clear none 04:00 48 27 18 268 (W) 1237 clear none 05:00 48 27 16 267 (W) 1011 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
