Seeing was good. Sinusoidal noise was seen on the az_error strip on telemetry in various parts of the sky, varying from .5" to 1.5". The wave only seemed to happen when guiding was engaged, and the amplitude seemed to scale with the period. Other than that, no significant mishaps and the scope was open all night. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:21 dcamera 427( 1151) 70 57 17.6 20.0 20.2 20.8 18.2 - 1.14 22:52 tcamera 505( 1271) 225 65 17.4 17.0 17.7 16.9 17.0 - 0.80 01:10 ecamera 355( 35) 47 56 15.9 16.2 16.8 16.2 16.1 ND1 0.83 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 70 28 17 231 (SW) 1119 mstly clr none 17:00 70 26 20 278 (W) 1047 mstly clr none 18:00 70 25 18 267 (W) 869 mstly clr none 19:00 69 24 24 259 (W) 907 mstly clr none 20:00 65 21 16 261 (W) 970 mstly clr none 21:00 64 19 13 250 (WSW) 948 clear none 22:00 62 19 17 240 (WSW) 902 clear none 23:00 63 18 13 251 (WSW) 794 clear none 00:00 62 19 11 256 (WSW) 733 clear none 01:00 62 16 15 281 (W) 763 clear none 02:00 59 16 11 257 (WSW) 823 clear none 03:00 59 15 13 265 (W) 919 clear none 04:00 59 14 14 271 (W) 1028 clear none 05:00 57 15 13 262 (W) 1113 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
