Dust got a little high near opening, but plateaued. Well, at least until observing began. Shortly after the dust spiked, and stayed high until 22:50, at which point we could open again. Seeing was ok, but became excellent after 01:00. High thin clouds persisted, but we stayed open the rest of the night. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:54 tcamera 703( 1400) 61 44 12.9 15.4 15.2 15.6 13.7 - 1.65 22:59 arctic 413( 872) -7 57 10.9 11.9 12.6 12.1 11.1 Semrock 1.01 01:15 ecamera 380( -263) -53 78 9.9 10.1 10.9 10.2 9.9 ND1 0.69 05:07 AGILE 480(-1418) 36 27 8.3 8.3 9.0 8.3 8.2 BG40 0.94 05:35 APOLLO 375( 1414) 45 29 8.6 8.1 8.8 8.1 8.3 530 1.60 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 63 33 22 265 (W) 2673 clear none 17:00 64 30 22 262 (W) 3644 clear none 18:00 60 28 17 258 (WSW) 4110 ptly cldy none 19:00 58 27 23 265 (W) 5414 ptly cldy none 20:00 55 27 12 266 (W) 6122 ptly cldy dust 21:00 54 25 17 280 (W) 12195 ptly cldy dust 22:00 52 21 3 351 (N) 14420 ptly cldy dust 23:00 52 11 10 334 (NNW) 5371 ptly cldy none 00:00 51 7 7 339 (NNW) 3892 ptly cldy none 01:00 50 6 15 355 (N) 3406 ptly cldy none 02:00 49 3 4 268 (W) 2862 ptly cldy none 03:00 49 2 17 358 (N) 2409 ptly cldy none 04:00 48 3 15 5 (N) 2175 ptly cldy none 05:00 47 2 18 6 (N) 1942 ptly cldy none 06:00 47 -1 16 10 (N) 1855 ptly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
